Ashton "Elizabeth Prior" was born in Savannah, Georgia in June of 1994. By the age of 4, she began singing in the church children's choir and by the time she was 8, she was performing solos in church on a regular basis. At the age of twelve, she began taking guitar lessons and writting songs of her own. She recorded her first original single, The Path, in January of 2010 and it was released on iTunes in September of 2011 under the name "Ashton Elizabeth". For the past thirteen years, Elizabeth has been heavily involved in musical theatre. Performance credits include: Hello, Dolly! (Irene Molloy), Smokey Joe's Cafe (B.J.), Godspell (Sandra), Annie (Miss Hannigan), You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Sally Brown), Twelfth Night (Olivia), The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (Jess), and Kung Fu Hamlet (Ophelia). In November 2011, she released her second original single, Kiss'd. In that same month, Elizabeth realeased a Christmas EP, which included songs such as "Let it Snow" and "White Christmas". Elizabeth Prior is a graduate of Morgan County High School in Madison, Georgia. She is currently a freshman at Western Washington University where she plans to earn a batchelors degree in Theatre.
